    Nicely done video.

Yep, there’s a difference between being ‘alone’ and being ‘lonely’. It’s a very good skill to have: to be alone, but not lonely.

It’s taken me years to realize though, that different people have different tolerances for being alone. I can easily last for 4 – 5 days alone, but after that amount of time, I must change my environment or visit friends for company, or otherwise change things up.

I had this topic of conversation once with a couple of my married friends. One of my married friends has a 1 or 2 day tolerance for being alone. The other married friend estimated that she has about a 3 day tolerance.

So I do think that the length of time that someone is alone – and is comfortable with it (even likes it) is a learned skill. I’m more comfortable (than my married friends) at being alone for a longer period of time, simply because I’ve had more practice at it.

Yep, acquiring the skill of liking your own company is a good skill to acquire and work on.
