I remember reading Catcher In the Rye,and Franny and Zoey(didn’t care much for that one),back in the 60′s.
And I,too,was so disappointed to find out what a dysfunctional person he is.You’re a better person than me,as I still have not forgiven him.

Hey Erin, I read Catcher in the Rye and Franny and Zooey. They were so-so books to/for me.
Catcher in the Rye I had heard of and then found (I have no idea where) a copy with the cover ripped off. Since it was supposed to be controversial I read it. So-so.
Franny and Zooey was a college literature assignment. Or it could have been one of my speed reading assignment.
Either and all ways, I don’t even remember the plots in those books.
